Winter in Cumbria

It's always nice to get some sledging pictures so I headed to Brampton, a town on the way from Carlisle to Newcastle and happily met some very sweet sisters who were dressed in perfectly bright colours. Rickerby Park Carlisle was also snow covered, though it's a shame the tiny figures weren't dressed in red etc. "James Bond" had been left without gas for the whole of Christmas and when I got to his home he was warming his hands on a small electric heater, the flat freezing. This picture isn't very pressy and somehow I couldn't get exactly what I wanted from this but I kind of like it anyway.
